Flow State is about that feeling when everything just clicks—the colour, the motion, the moment. It’s less about control and more about instinct. Painted on raw natural linen, this large-scale abstract artwork is layered with expressive brushstrokes, curved lines, and intuitive marks that came together in a rhythm I didn’t want to interrupt.

There’s a looseness to it, but also intention. Sweeps of soft blues, dusty peach, and grounding neutrals give the work a calm energy—like movement without rush. It’s the kind of piece that quietly holds space in a room, offering both openness and detail depending on how you engage with it.

Made in my Perth studio, Flow State is part of a series exploring the idea of surrender—letting the process lead, trusting the outcome. It was created with the same honest, instinctive approach that runs through all my work.
