COMMISSIONS
Commission an artwork
Thank you for your interest in a commissioned piece—working with someone to create something meaningful for their space is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I only take on a select number of commissions at a time to make sure each piece gets the time and focus it deserves. If you’d like to be next in line, you can join the waitlist below and I’ll be in touch when a spot becomes available.
Here’s how the process works:
Step 1: Complete the Waitlist Application
Start by getting in touch to let me know you're interested. If you already have a size or a colour palette in mind—or if there’s a previous painting of mine you love—feel free to include that in your message. This helps me understand the direction you’re drawn to.
Step 2: Inspired Interpretation
Once we’ve had a chat and confirmed the direction, I’ll begin work on your piece. I work in an intuitive way, so no two paintings are ever the same—but I do offer what I call an Inspired Interpretation: a unique painting based on the colours and feeling of past works you love, but with its own original expression.
Step 3: Two Options, One Final Choice
I’ll paint two versions for you to choose from—each one created with care, and a little variation in tone or energy. You get to select the one that feels right for you. The other will be available as an original piece through my website or gallery.
Step 4: Handmade to Order
All of my canvases and frames are handmade here in Australia. This takes around 4 weeks before the painting process even begins—so I always recommend factoring that into your timeline.
Step 5: Completion & Delivery
From start to finish (canvas build to final brushstroke), most commissions take around 8–10 weeks. Once completed, I’ll send through final images and arrange delivery to your door.
A few other things to know:
- A 40% deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due before delivery.
- Sharing images of my previous artworks of mine that you’re drawn to is always helpful.
If you’re ready to chat about a custom piece, just send me a message—I’d love to hear your ideas.
