Brighter Days is a large-scale abstract artwork painted on natural linen, created to bring light, colour, and a sense of optimism into a space. Measuring 297 x 102 cm, the long format gives the piece a strong horizontal flow, allowing the colours and movement to stretch and breathe across the surface.

The layers feel open and expressive, with brighter moments balanced by grounding tones that keep the work feeling settled and considered. Painted in my Perth studio, this abstract artwork works beautifully above a sofa, bed, or in an entryway where it can catch the light and open up the room. It’s a piece that feels hopeful without being overly polished – relaxed, confident, and full of warmth.
