A Slight Change of Direction is about trusting the shift - that quiet moment when things take a turn you didn’t plan, but somehow it feels right. Painted on raw natural linen, it layers expressive marks, textured brushwork, and soft transitions of colour that move instinctively across the surface.

The palette blends muted pinks, warm beige, ochre, and gentle white tones, creating a composition that feels balanced yet spontaneous. It’s reflective and calm, but with enough energy to keep your eyes moving - like a gentle reminder that change can be steady, not sudden.

Created in my Perth studio, this mid-size abstract artwork brings warmth and ease to any space. It’s one of those pieces that quietly reshapes the room around it.
