Rock Pool is inspired by my childhood love and connection with the natural world - I paint secret worlds that I imagine - hidden worlds deep in the ocean and pockets of reefs may will never see.

The piece is designed to elicit a response from the viewer, evoking joy, serenity, and energy - whatever emotion they need.

Abstraction allows viewers to bring their own interpretations to the work; I'm delighted when a collector finds something unique in a painting that I hadn't imagined. It's all about the individual experience.
